![]() I like my Ultrafex II, I've not actually used it on any music yet but I had my PC soundcard outs plugged into it and I miss it now. They also made a full version of this called the Edison EX1 that some people really like.Įdit: I've just checked and I'm wrong, the Ultrafex II has an 'enhancer' rather than an exciter, the EX3200 and probably the 'Tube' one have both enhancer and exciter depending which way you turn the knob. There's also a surround processor that works by cross feeding an out of phase signal to the other channel. It boosts your bass and treble (using an exciter) and has a noise reduction knob to keep any excited hiss under control. ![]() It's a two channel sound enhancer, which was fairly popular back in the 90s when doing a bit of 'mastering' on your final mixes or sometimes to pep up a single track or subgroup. ![]()
